Hey, Don't Believe Me! Believe What Others Said! These Are Several of Awesome Testimonials From Our Satisfied Customers!

Boutht All American 21.5 qt canner in August. The metal to metal seal was appealing. No running all over town to find a seal like I remember when I was a kid. This bad boy ought last a life time. We canned 60 qts of beans right out of the box. The seal works every time, just snug the wing nuts and youre there. The lid usually poped lose removing the wing nuts. I did rub vaselene around the contact area on the lid. Not sure you would have to but probably did make slipping the lid off a little easier. All the parts were included and shipping was quick. Great canner PLUS its made in America. Would buy again and would definitely reccomend to anyone wanting a quality canner that will be there for you many years to come.

Just got it. It was my first canning. Canner worked great. Note if using wide mouth jars you can use only 8 pint jars per rack not the 9. Was easy to use, put up 60 pints over the weekend. Canner is well made. Highly recommend.

The is a beautifully crafted piece of equipment. I chose the All American because of its great reviews, the industrial style no gasket design AND it's made in America. The pressure gauge makes it really easy to know what stage you're at in the process. I'm having a great time canning stock, soup, vegetables, and on and on. I've already been telling everyone I know they NEED one of these!

I wanted a larger canner, but I was hesitant to buy this because I have a Whirlpool glass-top stove. I looked at my manual and it stated that the canner should be flat-bottomed and should not extend 1/2" beyond the burner. It is a flat-bottomed canner and after measuring I thought it would work out. My largest burner is 12" and it pretty much takes up that much room. I've used it several times and I expect it will continue to work for me. I haven't had any problems with the metal-to-metal seal. I just followed the instructions carefully and used olive oil to lubricate it. I like the size, it is heavy, and seems like it's going to last me for years. I like to purchase USA products when I can so I was very happy to find this and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I was very tempted to buy the 41-quart (All American 941) version of this product, but decided to get this one instead. I'm glad I did. It's a terrific starter canner for someone like me who is just beginning to learn how to can my own foods. By far, the biggest reason to buy this product is that it doesn't require a gasket. Many pressure cookers require some sort of gasket. This one doesn't. Instead, the instructions ask you to rub a little dab of olive oil along the edge where the lid makes contact with the body. That's very doable. I love knowing I won't be searching for some gasket 5, 10, or even 20 years from now for this thing. Second, it holds 7 full sized quart canning jars. That's not a huge amount, but it's a decent number for any project. The product is obviously well made with no visible defects, sturdy, and solid. It's aluminum, so it's not terribly heavy, but you don't want to be lugging it around full of water and jars. The instruction book that comes with it is very informative. The pressure gague seems to be right on target. When I set the pressure via the weighted cylinder that sits on top of the valve, I get exactly 240 degrees F with 10 PSI. That's exactly what I'm looking for. I would recommend this as the best first canner for anyone wanting to get into canning their own food. I may upgrade and get the larger one (in addition to this one) later on, if my gardening harvests are larger, but for now, this is perfect. I would not recommend you use this to cook food though. I think a smaller all steel pressure cooker (it will require a gasket, alas), would be a better choice. I can recommend you visit the Miss Vickie web site for additional information on both cooking with a pressure cooker and canning.
